This is Penders Racing's newest prodject, a 1980 TXL 340. I will bei converting and restoring this snowmobile for the vintage watercross race at the Watercross World Championship in Grantsburg Wisconsin this July.
This is after just after I bought it.
.

not to bad for being 28 years old
Started preping for the watercross build. wich basicaly equals= guting it down to nothing.
After ripping into the motor I found that one cylinder is in need of some boring and an up grade on both pistons. I'm not sure yet but I think we are going to go with the 340 fan Piston wich it a little bigger than what is offered for this motor.
I was given a ton of extra parts with the sled including an extra head wich I am planning on getting some work done to to get a little more Hp's.
Here I am just tossing around some paint Ideas. and quickly found that my body working skills are horrible. So I'm leaving it up to my good buddy and team mate Rocky.
I have to take some more pictures to get some more progres.
